Back in Mayoyao Ifugao, while watching the kids play, I noticed a child's slipper lying on the floor, which immediately reminded me of my childhood, running around, the genuine laughter we had, the smell of the sun, and the goodbyes after playing.

Our worn-out, broken flip-flop slippers were fixed with steel wire, and we used the same thin-soled slippers until they were completely ripped, feeling true joy every time we got new ones. 😅🤣
