STORY TIME

When I got a call from the groom before lunch that day, he sounded so disappointed with the bouquet his bride had and asked if I could create a new one before 1:30 PM.

Most of the flowers I had on hand were colorful. I was about to turn them down. But as I stared at the few white flowers left in the shop, I suddenly thought, “Why not use these potted orchids instead?” The imported Phalaenopsis orchids I had that day were truly meant for them.

I messaged the groom and told him to focus on his big day because I got this. He told me he just needed reassurance that I could come up with something beautiful so he could finally calm down. All I could say was, “Yes, Sir. Darating ako.”

The materials may not have been much, but it took me quite some time to finish the bouquet because I never want to deliver something below my standards or something my client wouldn’t be happy with.

I wasn’t able to take any BTS shots while making it because my nephew and I had to rush to the church before the bridal march. And yes, buzzer be**er talaga. We arrived around 1:50 PM, just in time before the bride entered the church.

What an exciting and fulfilling day that was.
Good thing that despite all the mishaps that day, something still worked out in our favor. Thank You, Lord! 🤍✨
