Artsy weekend at Dr. Santos LRT1
When one thinks on the LRT, we tend to look at it with a utilitarian lens, a means to get from Point A to Point B. But, the LRT is also both anchor and space and conduit, one that sees thousand of people pass through its turnstiles every single day. This May, we seek to tap the LRT as anchor, as space, as conduit.
Puesto Creative Events and The Nilad Community, in cooperation with the Light Rain Manila Cooperation, proudly present the LRT-1 IKOT MANILA ART FAIR. This month, the LRT will open its doors to art, in the hopes that the system can serve more than just transport.
We are staging a two week art and crafts pop-up at the Dr. Santos LRT Station Concourse from May 22 - 24 and May 29 - 31. We are also staging an exhibit at the Central Terminal Concourse this month as well.
This month of May, the LRT will be a space for art and heritage. You are all cordially invited. Watch this space for more information.
