After extensively travelling around Bali in 2013, I fell in love with the island and all that it symbolises. Did you know that until recently, the Balinese didn't have specific words for "Art" and "Music" in their language? Because the creativity they express through these 2 channels is so engrained in their culture and traditions that they are simply a means of their everyday lives. I discovered

this quickly upon exploring the cultural capital of this magical island; Ubud. With an abundance of galleries scattered across the bustling town and luscious
surrounding rice paddies, there is no denying that the Balinese live and breath art. Utterly captivated and inspired I began my search to meet artists, and nurture my inquisitiveness. I wanted to understand them, connect with them and their families. My goal was to share the love, colour and purity they express through their art with the rest of world! Thanks to YESYOUART you will see and perhaps feel the passion on canvas of 3 special artists; Joe, Monjrong and Wurna. each expressing a unique artisan technique and each with their very own remarkable story.
