Eco A4 Wayfinder in Black Vegtan

Despite the Eco Wayfinders being the simplest style of journal that I make it is undoubtedly the most challenging to produce. The leather must speak for itself and it must carry its flaws with absolute pride.

Most of the hides I use are only really good enough for 2-3 journal main panels. With bigger sizes like A4 trifolds you probably can only get 1 or 2 if you are lucky with a blemish free hide.

Custom A5 Wayfinder in a Client Designed Layout.

This was my longest project by far taking a couple of months to complete in entirety. The amount of pockets that needed to be cut out and skived by hand took weeks. Then, assembling everything was even longer. Tired hands and bloodied fingers. But I’m glad it’s finally done.

In between the time it took to start and finish this. We’ve been through 3 hospital visits and multiple challenges. This project for me serves as a stark reminder that my biggest challenge and strength is everything is done by me but everything also relies on me.
