aring financial-related reports, so it didn’t occur to her that she’d find it very fulfilling to perform event management activities. But it was during her wedding in 2006 when she realized that events planning and coordination is her passion, finding joy in organizing her own wedding, playing with her concepts and ideas, coordinating every detail, piece by piece, until she herself and her relatives were a witness to the successful outcome of that momentous occasion. After her wedding event, her relatives, friends, and co-workers convinced her to use that special talent to start events coordination as a part-time business. In 2008, this part-time business managed to deliver its first project: Miss Ligsay’s best friend’s wedding. She integrated her unique concepts and ideas with her best friend’s own taste of a simple and solemn wedding. An awesome wedding occasion that received a lot of accolades from its attendees. In December 2010, “Events by Daphney Ligsay” became operational and was eventually established as “Daphney Ligsay Events and Concepts” (DLEC). In June 2011, in an effort to ensure that any event DLEC organizes will become a complete success, with every intricate detail crafted to perfection, the business decided to venture into floral arrangement and thematic styling for bridal bouquet, church, and reception as one of its major services. In January 2014 to December 2015, DLEC was listed as one of the accredited florists of Fernbrook Gardens (currently Palazzo Verde). It was also invited to the June Wedding segment of ABS CBN’s ASAP as official stylist in June 2014. Since then, we at DLEC have had satisfied clients in all services. We get an increasing list of new clients, simply through referrals of previous customers who keep coming back. And the clients’ joy and contentment in their special moments fuel our passion. Our biggest accomplishment in life is indeed neither the TV appearances nor the recognitions. These are just the bonuses. The greatest reward we have is seeing our clients’ happiness and satisfaction when they consider us a blessing in each significant event in their lifetime because of our capability to deliver beyond their expectations."
