What would happen if I had pursued digital arts?
My journey with art started during my high school days when I discovered my love for traditional painting. I enjoyed expressing my creativity through colors and creating something from my imagination. However, I was not able to explore art as much as I wanted because art materials were expensive, and as a student, I had to make a practical choice. I chose to focus on my studies and set my passion for art aside.
Then, during the pandemic, I discovered digital painting. As more people began exploring digital art, I became curious and slowly learned how it works. It felt like a new way of continuing the passion I had started years ago.
But even then, I struggled to find the right balance. As a student, I saw spending too much time on gadgets as a distraction, so I did not practice enough. I continued prioritizing my studies, and even until 2026, I kept choosing academics over fully developing my skills in art.
Sometimes, I wonder, “What would happen if I had pursued digital arts earlier?” But instead of dwelling on what could have been, I choose to appreciate the journey that brought me here.
Now, I am relearning everything. I am going back to the basics, improving my skills, and rediscovering the joy of creating. Maybe I am starting later than others, but I believe that every dream has its own timing.
The passion that was once paused was never forgotten.
It is never too late to return to something you love. Every small practice, every new technique, and every creation is a step toward becoming better than I was yesterday.
To anyone learning a new skill, even a small one, keep pursuing it. Never underestimate the value of the things you are learning today, because skills are important in this life and may become a means of growth, opportunities, and blessings in the future. I also wish I had practiced more before, but I am still grateful because I believe everything happens for a reason, and Allah’s timing is always perfect.
May this journey remind me that growth is not always about starting early; sometimes, it is about having the courage to start again. 🤭🌻
