HOUSE 002 - THE PIÑA LOOM HOUSE
AKLAN Province, Region VI

Inspired by Aklan’s celebrated piña-fiber weaving tradition, this contemporary tropical bungalow is designed around both family life and livelihood.

Its interlocking roofs echo the movement of threads on a loom, while woven timber screens gently filter sunlight and allow natural ventilation. Along the shaded veranda, a dedicated workspace supports piña-fiber preparation, weaving, and the display of finished textiles—keeping Aklan’s craftsmanship alive within the home.

A house that shelters the family while creating opportunities for them to grow.

One House. One Livelihood. One Filipino Story

HOUSE 001 - The PAN de HOUSE — MANILA

A Contemporary Art Deco Home and Neighborhood Panaderya

The Manila House reimagines the city’s Art Deco heritage, traditional corner shops, and tropical architecture as a modern mixed-use bungalow.

A welcoming neighborhood panaderya occupies the street-facing corner, while a separate private entrance protects the family home. Curved façades, capiz-inspired windows, breeze-block screens, and tropical gardens create a home where architecture, community, and livelihood come together.

One House. One Filipino Story.

What if a home could feel like a hidden lagoon—sheltered by stone, water, and forest?

Inspired by Palawan’s towering limestone cliffs, underground rivers, turquoise lagoons, and tropical forest canopies, The Proposed Karst House transforms the province’s natural landscape into a compact contemporary Filipino home.

Textured limestone-inspired walls form protective living spaces, while carved openings recall caves and narrow rock passages. A central water court flows through the house like an underground river, connecting the entrance, garden, and lagoon dining veranda. Above, a broad timber roof floats like a forest canopy, filtering sunlight and sheltering the home from the tropical climate.

THE PROPOSED KARST HOUSE
A Palawan Home Carved by Stone, Water, and Forest.
