Things I made during pregnancy instead of just nesting.✨️

When I found out I was pregnant, one of my first I thoughts was: "Will I still be able crochet/craft?" "Will I still be able to continue this craft account?"

With all the lethargy and disomfort of my first trimester, I thought, that was it. End of my journey here. I was even on the verge of writing my goodbye caption to be posted here (so dramatic naman yarn). 😆

But the Lord has been gracious! He regained my strength just in time. And... you know the rest. ♡

She's here. ♡

The reason of my 2 weeks MIA. True to what they say, the first weeks are really hard. Physically draining with emotions all over the place. 🫠🫣

But I know, things will soon get better. One step at a time. One day at a time. Through God's grace.

And I will find time to do some crafts again!

For now, let me show you the crochet blanket I made for her. It's in a bassinet/stroller size. Great for warmth and comfort, whether she's just cozying in our room or we're on the go.

Can't wait to fill this account with cool baby stuff!

I'm a fiber artist. I enjoy making things with different types of yarns. I'm quite fascinated how a single strand can make something beautiful and functional. 😊 Whether it's through crocheting, hand-knitting, macramé, or even punch embroidery.

But I'm also into other crafts like paper quilling and brush calligraphy. There's something meaningful about working with your own hands and turning it to something special. ✨️

Currently, I'm heavy on crocheting, but I'm really hoping I can share some of my paper arts and calligraphy soon too. 🙏

I had to re-learn crocheting this blanket... and it was not fun. 😅

Last year, I shifted from crocheting blankets to crocheting/knitting bags, scarves, and hair ties. Then my pregnancy, so 🤮😢😔 (iykyk). This year, I rolled out two new products: my crochet hair claws and Kindle sleeves.

And as a muscle-memory kind of girl (don't be like me 😅), I didn't write down a pattern for my blanket and just contented relying on my memory. So, getting back to the groove was really a struggle.

So, yeah, trial and error, baby! Fortunately, I have gotten past that. And now I'm halfway through. 🙂
