Quick little backstory because this one really made my heart full.

Someone posted in one of the groups looking for someone who makes torta, and you guys tagged and recommended us. I may not be able to thank each and every one of you individually, but thank you so, so much for always recommending our little kitchen.

She messaged us initially thinking we could ship the torta through LBC. But since our Torta Pinistaan has no preservatives, we only recommend it within its best consumable period of around 7 days, so shipping it internationally wasn’t really an option.

Then she came back with an order… and later, another 30 pieces bound for the UAE because her mom had a friend traveling there.

Yesterday, she messaged me with this photo.

And honestly, I thought wala na jud ni nadayon. I was already mentally letting go of the idea.

But then… THERE YOU GO. 🥹

From a childhood torta we were simply trying to recreate… to Oslob, then different parts of the Philippines, and now UAE.

Who would’ve thought this little piece of our childhood would travel this far?
