One of the most challenging task for a first time plantito/tita is probably the type of pot to pick for her plant baby. While deciding whether this particular plant will be preferred for other than its aesthetic purpose, selecting the pot is as crucial as scheduling to water your plant babies or not. Below are some guides in choosing the right pot:

- pots with drainage holes (these allow excess water to run through and promotes better air circulation)

- type of material (ceramic pots- are porous which means your plants are less likely to experience root rot from overwatering)

- type of material (plastic pots- lighter, less likely to break, and easier to clean)

- size of the pot (you have to choose a pot that is an inch or two bigger than the nursery bag which the plant is originally housed in)
