Meron din diyan sa BDO sa isang Pasig Mall na sobrang lapit sa residence ko. May tatlong ATMs sa labas. Two are withdrawal machines, the left and the middle and one is for deposit only, the third on the right most.
Remember, there are only two withdrawal machines.
While using the withdrawal machine on the right, which is also the middle, it did not spill out the cash. So I went inside and talked to the good looking lady with a disposing look (medyo stricto mukha). She asked me which WITHDRAWAL MACHINE did I use and had a problem with. (I cannot remember if she asked if it was the left or the right.) SINCE THERE ARE ONLY TWO WITHDRAWAL MACHINES, I INTELLIGENTLY ANSWERED her that it was the right machine. With an unemotional face she countered that there are 3 ATMs outside and that the one on the (farthest) right is only a deposit machine. Wow! I was taken aback momentarily and could not answer. I thought of saying, "Ang tinanong mo ay kung aling withdrawal machine, EH DALAWA LANG YAN so it's EITHER LEFT OR RIGHT!" In under 3 seconds I said, "O sige para wala na lang problema o argumento, yung withdrwal machine sa gitna!" (how could there be a withdrawal machine in the middle? there are only two of them!) What irks me is ang Yabang pa ang ginawa akong Tanga! hahaha! TANGA DAW AKO, ksi kung ginamit ko ang DEPOSIT Machine eh HINDI NGA PUEDE MAG WITHDRAW DOON!!!

Let's talk about the Chinese cars here in the Pinas. This Jetour T2 Traveler is a real comfort to drive and much more enjoyable riding as a passenger. Takes some time to learn all its features since almost all (except starting, changing modes, changing gears or movement directions, and four other buttons - 6 physical controls) are manipulated via the i-pad sized central monitor. Starting to drive Yu-Je (fond name for our T2 and it's a she) would feel weird at the beginning since its behavior is crispier than the old and older cars/SUVs I am accustomed to. BUT less the distractions of the new attractive monitors and displays, it is truly a safe and has safer feel to drive.
Along Lawton Ave, from Navy Golf to BGC, traffic suddenly stopped on the inner lane, assessed the vehicle behind me on the outer lane: near but can shift lane to the right so stepped on the pedal . ... . . and the 2 liter, turbocharged engine gave some of what it's got, and Yu-Je surged smoothly into the right lane without even sounding its distance warning.
Along EDSA, trailing a Vios which turned into the traffic from White Plains/corinthian road, the damn car just stopped in the middle of this busy hi-way. A motorcycle which moved into the lane had to suddenly stop, too, but its presence cut the distance between me and the @ #!! # # Vios. No moment to decide whether to switch lanes so only option was to step on the brakes hard.
BLAG-GAG!
Nope! Didn't bump the motorcycle and that @ # # #@@ Vios!
Whew! with forward sensing and what other features Yu-Je has, the brakes forcefully locked and stopped itself - without skidding, of course.
Immediately looked behind thru the rear view mirror to see if somebody bumped me from behind. Another "Whew!" Nada. Safe.
Lucky stars and God, thank you for EDSA did not have much traffic and vehicles are moving smoothly and edsa was unusually not crowded.
In another second, blew the horn at that @ # #$ Vios, cursing beneath my breath - of course unheard by that @ #$ driver.
The Vios moved and almost we simultaneously reacted and we (Yu-Je and I) moved to the free right lane. Reeling still a little from the shock of near collission, couldn't drive at the regular edsa traffic speed. The #@ #$ Vios, unapologetic, still is at a slow speed. Moving like being driven by a student driver.
We decided to overtake it from the right to get to the correct traffic flow and to get a glimpse of that #@ #@ driver.
Lo an behold! A lady driver, acting like a still learning driver at the wheels . . . and in an urban camouflage uniform! There were at least four (4) of them in that Vios . .
I just wish they didn't get into any accident that day. . . . with that driver . . .

Just watched Dune on the first day and at its first hour of screening at the IMax of Megamall. The movie has not disappointed. In fact, this one has me absorbed. 29 Feb 2024
Dune - a genuis. And this one is an absolutely fantastic presentation of that Genuis.
In my humble opinion, in this rendition the screenwriter and director stayed close and faithful to the printed version. Maybe much more, because the drama, the scenes and the timing of scenes, it changes, the score, etc., have filled my senses with full satisfaction - plus the mental appreciation of how each scene came near the printed words. The wonders of sight sand sounds have approximated and, in some, have even went greater than the imagination I experienced when reading the book.
However, the printed words of the paperback cannot all be expressed.
Watch it. It such a wonderful movie.

This is Ulra's Kitchen. The place in one's home where food is prepared. Much more than that, the kitchen is where good and interesting things and subjects are talked about and discussed. It is a place of happy activities. And I hope this one, becomes as such.
