Friday nights are best spent in a cozy bedroom—a timeless retreat for the independent professional woman. 🌸

There's something truly special about a client who comes back after 15 years...

This one-bedroom apartment was one of my earlier designs (2011) , and I was honored to be asked to refresh it while preserving the same timeless look she has always loved.

We updated the finishes, cabinetry, lighting, and details while staying true to the original design. The original 3/8 inch Hunter Douglas Duette® Top-Down/Bottom-Up honeycomb shades were replaced with the latest ¾-inch Duette® shades, and the brown umbra wall treatment was refreshed in green—subtle upgrades that preserve the apartment's timeless elegance while giving it a more refined, contemporary character.

Updated, not reinvented. Elevated, not replaced.

Because true classic design doesn't chase trends—it stands the test of time. 💛

Honoring an extraordinary milestone—61 years of dedicated professional practice and the recognition of Architect Cresencio Vitalis Benitez as Emeritus of the United Architects of the Philippines.

As shared by his daughter and principal of K. Benitez Design, he is not only a father but also the firm’s first mentor—an enduring source of inspiration whose integrity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to excellence have profoundly shaped both the field of architecture and the creative direction of the practice. His guidance led her to pursue Interior Design, grounded in the same values he has long upheld.

His legacy continues to inspire: a steadfast belief in thoughtful, authentic design, an emphasis on the power of natural light, and a commitment to creating spaces with honesty and intention, and to stay true to authenticity (yes, no artificial plants or flowers, ever).

From his early beginnings as part of the “Magic 7,” pioneers of the UP College of Architecture, alongside the late Architect Geronimo “Ronnie” Manahan—her second mentor—to the enduring impact he carries today, his story has shaped generations.

With sincere appreciation to the United Architects of the Philippines, especially the Iligan Chapter, for this meaningful recognition : honoring a true gem not only within the organization, but also in Iligan City and Marawi.
