Ameng Balay means "our home" that we love to share with friends, friends of friends, and friends of a friend's friend.... to sit by, chat, linger and enjoy life's simple pleasures from carefully chosen pieces of fine crafted, beautiful things, pottery, handwoven rugs and wraps, embroidered cushion covers and silk pouches, handpainted ceramic plates, cotton covered notebooks, handmade cloth shoes,

thoughtfully done sewing kits, some crochet from 82 year old Nanay, and memorable ones such as table runners, curtains, and more from a friends' Mama, watercolor and paintings in acrylic, from one of Palawan's respected and truly gifted artists. We have just started and aim to one day, very soon, through the graciousness of friends and artists, be a vast repository for simple and lovely things on earth....in a word, whatever can comfort the heart and delight the eye.
