Heavenly Father, we come to You with heavy hearts for our brothers and sisters in Mindanao who are in deep crisis due to the strong earthquake.
Buildings fell. Lives were lost. Many are hurt and afraid.
Lord, be a refuge for those who are grieving because lives were lost. Touch and heal the injured. Give courage to students and teachers who evacuated. Strengthen first responders, LGUs, and medical teams working without rest.
For families who lost homes, send provision.
For children who are scared, send comfort.
For communities facing aftershocks, send calm.
Let help arrive quickly.
Let no more lives be lost.
We fervently pray that those in position unite and forget their political and personal differences. Let them be reminded that in moments like this, initiatives must be implemented instantly.
Their presence is needed and should be felt by the people at once.
We pray for GenSan, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Davao Occidental, Sultan Kudarat, and all of Mindanao.
You are the God who stills the earth and calms the storm. Cover this island with Your mercy.
