First try on seamless beanie. Free pattern. Will post it here once I finalize it. So you can also try it. The two colors was unintentional. I ran out of green thread. π€
If you're too lazy to learn to crochet, pm me if interested. π
Milk cotton yarn 5 ply, about 2 skeins of 50 grams. 5.5 mm hook.
Here is the pattern:
1. Make 4 chain stitches then join the last stitch to the first stitch then slip stitch to make a ring. (Alternative, you can use magic ring instead of the chain 4 foundation. In this case, after making a magic ring, proceed to step 2)
2. Chain 2, then make 11 more double crochet inside the ring. All in all you should have 12 DC inside the ring, having the chain 2 as one DC. You should have a total of 12 stitches.
3. Round 2. 2 DC on the last DC of the previous round. Put a marker on the first DC of this round. Then put 2DC on the next stitch until the end of the row (2DC).
4. Round 3. DC 1 on the last DC of the previous round then move the marker on this stitch. Then 2DC on the next stitch (DC 1, 2DC) repeat until the end of the row.
5. Round 4. 2DC on the DC of the previous round then move the marker to the first DC of this round. Then DC for the next two stitch then 2DC on the next stitch (2DC, DC 2) until the end of the row.
6. Round 5. This row would be the last increase. 2DC on the last DC of the previous row. Move the marker to the first DC of this round. Then DC for the next three stitches (2DC, DC 3) repeat until the end of the round.
7. Round 6-17. Put one DC for every stitch. Move the marker every start of round so you can keep count of what round you're working on. Repeat to achieve desired length. For me, I made until round 17.
8. After your last round, join the last DC of the previous round to your current round then slip stitch. Then for the ribbing, alternately do a FRONT POST DOUBLE CROCHET (FPDC) and BACK POST DOUBLE CROCHET (BPDC). You should always end with a BPDC. Then slip stitch every end of round. Do this for three more rounds or until desired length.
9. I always end with 2 chain stitch before I cut the yarn.
ENJOY!!!!
