A small win that mattered.

Last year broke me in ways I never saw coming. I walked away from a job I loved. Not because I wanted to but because life forced a change I wasn’t ready for.
Then I lost a 9-year relationship. And with it, the version of myself I had built my whole adult life around.

From then on, every day felt heavy. Waking up was hard. Showing up was harder. Learning how to live as a “new me” felt like grieving someone who was still alive.

There were days when survival was the only win. Days when breathing felt like effort. Days when I didn’t feel strong, just tired.

I kept looking at the calendar, whispering the same wish: matapos na sana ang 2025. I wanted the year to end.To bury the memories and to leave the pain behind and hope that a new beginning would somehow find me.

But here is the small win that mattered more than anything else:
I am still here. Even when it hurt, I felt lost, when staying felt harder than leaving. I showed up in quiet ways. I let go of connections that no longer felt safe or real.

This isn’t a loud victory. there’s no celebration for it, but it’s real and it saved me.

What I love about having a small stationery and craft shop is the joy of packing orders because it always feels like wrapping a gift for someone special, whether it’s an order or a little freebie.

My shop also sponsored two hangouts this month, and it truly made me so happy! It’s my little way of giving back to the community and showing appreciation for keeping the journaling community alive.

Still recovering from Plannercon 2025.😅 Might be my last event for the year, so I’m closing the shop for a bit to restock and work on new products for next year. Buong taon na ata kami nag-e-events and as much as we want to push pa for December, baka tuluyan na talaga kami tumagos sa pinto.
