PANITIKA
Letters from the heart

PANITIKA is not just a startup, but also a mission promoting letter writing of encouragement, especially for family and friends suffering from depression...

In this digital age, intentionally connecting personally and physically has become lesser. It is my prayer and advocacy to encourage that and help empower people by giving cards and bookmarks where we can writ

e more how we love and appreciate someone. Each card is handmade water colored with encouraging lines, verses, or quotes on the cover, allowing the whole inner area of the card for letter writing... Some of my works which are usually ordered as a set (5 pcs each of cards each pack). Other than these, Panitika is also offering bookmarks for those who planned to give it out to encourage friends...

Message on the outer cover can also be customized. At present, some of the designs I do are as follows:
1. Galaxy and night sky
2. florals and cherry blossoms
4. the beach
5. other abstract pieces

Panitika will soon be doing crowdfunding; offering printed card designs and postcards :) praying we can also open for stationery too...

We also offer invitations (as we believe invitations are means of sharing the heart's joy and God's blessing with the people we love), and also other calligraphy and watercolor artwork as a gift. PANITIKA is made to express encouragement and love... Let's love forward as God loved us first and expressed it through His Son Jesus Christ!

In a fast-paced world, moments of stillness can feel rare. “Basic to Beautiful,” a beginner-friendly brush calligraphy workshop led by Jen G. Jimenez of Sweet Serendipity Art, offers exactly that—an invitation to slow down, explore creativity, and reconnect with oneself through art.
Designed primarily for beginners, the workshop creates a welcoming space for anyone curious about calligraphy, whether they’re picking up a brush for the first time or simply seeking a relaxing creative outlet. Participants are introduced to foundational techniques such as basic strokes, letter formation, and guided drills. The approach is intentionally simple—no expensive tools or advanced materials required—making the art form more accessible and less intimidating.
Using a round watercolor brush, watercolor paints, and thoughtfully prepared worksheets, attendees learn to develop control, rhythm, and confidence in their strokes. This method reflects Jimenez’s own journey into calligraphy, where starting with basic tools helped her build a strong foundation before advancing further.
More than just a technical session, the workshop emphasizes connection. Conversations, shared stories, and quiet moments of focus all shape the experience. Some participants find themselves chatting and bonding, while others slip into a peaceful “zen” state, fully immersed in the creative process.
By the end of the session, participants complete their own artwork—an achievement that reinforces both skill and self-belief. They also take home their materials, encouraging continued practice beyond the workshop.
At its core, “Basic to Beautiful” is about more than learning calligraphy. It’s about discovering that creativity is not reserved for a select few. It’s about finding rest, building community, and realizing that even the simplest beginnings can lead to something meaningful—and beautiful.

A comissioned calligraphy art work I did over the weekend for a prenup shoot…

Thank you for the trust and support.

It’s been a while since I did something like this for weddings. Before I only did invitations, then signages and Bible verses on wood, now this ❤️

I think I should have Sweet Setendipity for weddings (but not the onsite real time painting stuff)…

For your own calligraphy art work, send me a message here or via viber at (+63) 9165787994 📱

Blessings!

Let’s do this again soon…

All progress for workshop was halted after funds started dwindling. I need to make choices and fast.

Despite it God is good..

When God allows such things to happen it was never for denial but a redirection…

One day we’ll have our Sweet Serendipity art dates again. For now though I am grateful for:

1. The time to rethink and discover ideas
2. The time to expand services through art commission for Weddings (Thank you to our lovely client for the support and trust)
3. The possible future collaborations
4. The partnerships that continue to be supportive and prayerful (thank you too for the friendship)

I can only praise God and trust Him

I tried experimenting with gouache today. A first time to do something like this — not your usual goache painting but so what…

Making art should be fun. I don’t know if people will like it but it helped me chill. Amidst the very clean approach gouache paints are used for, I just tried something different. I did something outside what I know

I wanted to practice negative painting of the woods and while I did I can’t help but think of “Into the Woods” movie (that musical) — at least the soundtrack.

Anyway this was one of the pieces I submitted for a gallery exhibit (together with City In a Whim) but I wasn’t able to give since I saw the email that I passed screening WAAAYYY to late.

So here, sharing this for bidding. As I now look at this I now can’t help but think of LoTR and Merlin. I am even reminded now of the story I started writing back when I was in my 20’s (before busyness took a hold on me).

Just like the previous art work I shared, this is on bid because it’s the original and Ill be also making art prints from this as well.

I pray who ever will get this will also be reminded of heroes and possibilities — of fairytales and the gift of imagination.

God bless! 🌸

This is one of the pieces that gave me a sweet surprise. i made this while demonstrating how to paint watercolor without brushes…

YES! NO BRUSH PAINTING!

It’s also the first time I did a 1 hour workshop online as part of our team’s (work) social time.

What makes this painting even more special was the fact my brother encouraged me to enter it last 2024 for an exhibit — and it passed the screening (unfortunately I saw the email confirmation waay to late 😭).

Now here I am opening this for bid and sharing the story of how this painting has somewhat became a symbol of my leap of faith especially as I sell it open for bid for the first time.

Yup taking another leap of faith on this indeed.

By the way this is open for bidding because this is the ORIGINAL and the VERY FIRST of my “No Brush No Problem” works. In addition I’m working on selling this as prints (car and art prints to start).

For question DM me 🙂

Blessings ✨
