The CUSTOM shop life: it's not always a breathtaking lesson, or having serious moments of clarity. More often than not -- the seasons are simply heavy, hard, filled with friction, stalled by the Habagat.

And surviving them is enough. 🪫🤎

Perspectives matter equally when facing slow, soulless monsoons one week, and a crazy catchup/busy week the next. At the Cave, these are lived experiences sharpened by iron on iron, by fracturing timbers, and by the absolute joy of releasing bespoke projects to a carousel of new emotions/faces.

On KWBA's spotlight here is a solid multi-room commission released to one of the highrise towers down "South." Comprises of:

✔️all-timber queen and double trundle beds
✔️personal armoires
✔️mirrored dressers/vanities.

Built with solid wood/panel blends, and finished in delightful cherry-oak tint (soft, satin finish). **NOT pictured are modern dining and living room furniture pieces that harmonize with the rest of interior**

A whole lotta love and ATTITUDE go with our custom-built wall cabinets and TV racks. They mean to impress with near floor-to-ceiling heights, broad panels, stacked compartments, and hardwood constructs; But they are endearing occupants of space too -- teasing its owners to retreat quietly, guiltlessly, blissfully, into their precious, private moments.

We like to think that every bespoke TV rack is a thoughtful, fluid treatment of blank Wall space where design opportunities are quite literally boundless. Lets go treat yours next! 🔋💯

Meet our 7' x 2' ft custom WorkTable: a pair of adjustable, industrial tables designed for serious, versatile duty. A butter-smooth client concept consisting of height-flexible design, steel+wood shop-made crank, caster wheels, and a steel frame engineered with an arched, ribbed design for added strength. A bespoke mechanical bracket joins the pair for an ultra-long piece that fills up the client's usable wall space. ⭐️🦾

Built with curated yakal, apitong slabs and finished in oil-based walnut + shiny polyurethane for a daily impression.

This triptych of modern/"rustique" consoles - a sideboard, media chest, and buffet cabinet - blends hand-hewn geometry, slatted facades, and deep, natural luster on aged timbers. The consoles themselves are differently built and purposed, but converge well on the symmetry of wooden lines, lacquered paint on steel, and soft bespoke touches that find their respective, rightful imprints at home.

Customised with care; co-created with clients, whose vision and impression of a beautiful living space will always be 💯🥂❤️

Nirvana feels a bit like -- fresh lukewarm air, bright smog-less mornings, the reverb and rustle from wind hitting against foliage and nearby groves, and guilt-free slowdowns from daybreak to sundown. KWBA's industrial-farmhouse series in is an aspirational set of bespoke heavy-timber builds with strong steel elements : a strong, accomplished and modern appreciation for and our dreamy, future spaces of escape.

This here is a rugged farmhouse kitchen island counter/table: 5.5' x 4' yakal and narra tabletop, with reclaimed board and batten skirting, ample compartments, and steelworks throughout. It both stands out and blends in - an icon of a home/kitchen that peers out to vast, lush agriculture.

ARRIBA!

One of our Cave's more underrated builds: a custom-made 8-foot long bar table that captures the joie de vivre, the frankness, and delirium of inebriated after-hours; and also the vibrance of life & color yearning to push out the taxing weight of the daily grind.

A relatively straightforward industrial build consisting of thick long-span yakal, ipil and narra slabs in various patina, with cool black steel legs. Finished in clear oils + thick semi-gloss polyurethane. (Specifically bespoke for a small restaurateur)

This beautiful dyad of timber sideboard cabinets react to these softer transitions into July. The warmth, depth and textures of old wood breathing LIFE into the somber of midyear monsoons and crouched rooms. So much vigor, elegance + functionality in these multi-compartment custom pieces - that its arguably sensible to keep adding them in your spaces of work, sleep, and play 🍺💙😇
