Minsan naiisip ko…
we take SO many photos of our babies everyday 📱🥹

Pero how many of those moments do we actually remember?

Yung first time niya ngumiti habang tulog.
Yung first “mama.”
Yung tiny fingers na kasya lang dati sa isang kamay mo. 🤍

One day…
our babies won’t be babies anymore. 💔

And honestly?
Nakakatakot isipin na baka makalimutan natin yung maliliit na moments na akala natin “ordinary” lang ngayon.

Because motherhood is beautiful…
but also exhausting.

Sleep-deprived.
Busy.
Overwhelmed.

Minsan naiisip ko… paano ba nagagawa ng ibang moms lahat? 🥺

I am on the last trimester of my 3rd pregnancy, everytime I got home from work, I am feeling my energy drained that I needed to take a rest for a bit. Kahapon, same scenario, pagkarating ko from work, I greeted my two kids at nagpaalam na magrerecharge lang. Maya-maya, my panganay knock on the bedroom door,
“Nanay?” I know he wanted to bond with me.
And ang sagot ko na naman?
“Later, anak… Nanay will just rest a bit.” I was feeling my leg cramps.
Pero pagdating ng “later,” there's no time for play na dahil marami pang ibang obligations at home ang nakapila. 💔
Hindi ko namalayan… ilang “later” na pala ang lumipas.
Tapos eto na naman ako ng 2 AM… gising pa rin kahit pagod na pagod na katawan ko.
Nag-ooverthink habang nakatitig sa kisame…
“Enough pa ba ako as a mom?”
“Naaalala kaya nila yung moments na wala ako?”
“Bakit parang kahit anong gawin ko, may kulang pa rin?”
“Work ba muna? Kids ba muna? Sarili ko kailan naman?”
Between work deadlines, home chores, school activities, at pagod sa buhay… parang laging may kulang.
Parang kahit anong bilis natin kumilos, may nami-miss pa rin tayong important moments with our kids.
Nakaka-guilty minsan no?
Yung physically present ka… pero mentally overloaded ka na talaga. 😔
Please tell me hindi lang ako yung nakakaramdam nito…
Working moms, paano niyo bina-balance lahat nang hindi nauubos sarili niyo? 🌸✨
