𝑴𝒚 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒚
Starting today, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚, I'll be sharing a 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒇𝒊𝒕 that I personally wear to school. This is my little way of celebrating the beauty of handmade fashion and the amazing creativity behind every crochet design.
But this series is more than just outfits.
As a 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓,most of the pieces you'll see are made from patterns created by talented 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒆𝒓. Through this diary, I want to showcase their creativity, hard work, and the countless hours they pour into designing patterns that makers like me get to bring to life.
And of course, I also want to give the spotlight to the beautiful yarns that make these creations possible. Most of my outfits are made using yarns proudly made by our local yarn makers here in the Philippines. (Crocheted by Carisse, Ashley's Crochet and YARNS by Angel)
At the same time, I also want to highlight the importance of 𝒔𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 in crochet. As someone who wears **2XL**, I hope these photos remind everyone that handmade fashion is for every body. Crochet isn't just for one size or one body type—it's for everyone. With the right pattern and a little patience, every stitch can become something beautiful, comfortable, and confidence-boosting.
𝑴𝒚 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕 𝑫𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒚 is my journey of wearing handmade with pride—one Friday, one outfit, one story at a time.
To all the talented pattern designers, thank you for trusting testers like me to help bring your visions to life. And to my fellow crocheters, I hope this inspires you to create, wear your handmade pieces proudly, and never be afraid to make them in your size.
Here's to celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and confidence—stitch by stitch, Friday by Friday.
