The anniversary, held in celebration of the National Arts Month, organized by the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH), highlighted the museum’s evolving role from a space of exhibition to a venue for active cultural learning. Central to the program was “Likha at Pamana: A Sayaf-Making Workshop,” participated in by IP students, including those from the Teduray community.

In his message, BCPCH Chairperson Salem Lingasa underscored the importance of treating culture as a living practice rather than a static display.

“More than a space for exhibition, the Bangsamoro Museum serves as a bridge that connects the past with the present, [...] our cultural heritage is not merely to be preserved—it must be practiced, understood, and passed on to future generations," Lingasa said.
