Before we started working our wedding blooms, Blue Grass Project first honed its craft through landscaping. From private residential gardens to luxury resorts, institutional landmarks, and lakeside estates, we spent years designing and nurturing living landscapes that balanced beauty, function, and sustainability.
Working closely with nature gave us a deep understanding of plants beyond their ornamental appeal. We learned the scientific and common names of countless species, their unique characteristics, seasonal blooming cycles, growth habits, environmental requirements, and the hierarchy in which they thrive together. We discovered how texture, color, scale, and form interact to create landscapes that mature gracefully over time.
This foundation became the heart of our floral artistry. Every arrangement we create is guided by the same principles we learned in the garden—respecting each plant’s natural movement, understanding how different botanicals complement one another, and designing compositions that feel organic rather than forced.
Today, whether we are transforming a wedding venue, styling a grand celebration, or creating an immersive floral installation, our work reflects decades of experience rooted in the landscape. Our designs are not simply collections of flowers—they are living compositions inspired by nature, shaped by horticultural knowledge, and crafted with an enduring appreciation for the beauty of the natural world.
