PRAYER FOR GODโS WILL, OPPORTUNITIES, DECISIONS, AND PROTECTION
Heavenly Father,
I surrender to You every opportunity, every decision, every plan, every commitment, and every path that comes before me.
Your Word says, โTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.โ โ Proverbs 3:5โ6
Lord, I ask that every opportunity that is truly according to Your will be opened and brought into my path. If it is meant for me, let no confusion, fear, delay, opposition, or circumstance take it away from me. Prepare me for it, give me wisdom to recognize it, and give me courage to receive it.
May every opportunity that is truly for me be covered, protected, and sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
But Father, if an opportunity appears great in my eyes yet is not Your will for me, please give me discernment. Do not allow me to pursue something simply because it looks profitable, impressive, convenient, or attractive.
If it is not meant for me, close the door peacefully and redirect it to the person, place, or purpose You have appointed for it. Let me not force what You have not ordained.
Lord, guide every decision I make.
Before I say yes, let me seek You.
Before I commit, let me pray.
Before I proceed, let me have wisdom.
Before I accept an opportunity, let me know whether it is truly from You.
Your Word says, โIn all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.โ
So I surrender my plans to You.
Bless the commitments that are according to Your will. Establish the work of my hands. Give me wisdom in business, work, relationships, finances, and every responsibility You have entrusted to me.
Psalm 90:17:
โMay the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for usโyes, establish the work of our hands.โ
Father, protect me from opportunities that would bring destruction, deception, unnecessary burdens, wrong partnerships, wrong commitments, or paths that would take me away from You.
Give me discernment to recognize not only open doors, but also doors You are asking me not to enter.
If something is truly mine according to Your will, let it come to me in Your perfect timing.
If something is not mine, give me the grace to let it go.
If something is meant for another person, bless them with it without jealousy or resentment, knowing that what You have prepared for me cannot be taken from me.
I declare that I do not need to force what God has not appointed for me.
I trust Your timing.
I trust Your direction.
I trust Your protection.
I trust Your provision.
May every good opportunity You send be blessed.
May every agreement that is according to Your will be established.
May every commitment that honors You be strengthened.
May every decision be guided by wisdom.
And may every path that is not for me be closed before it causes harm.
Above all, Father, let Your will be doneโnot merely my own desires.
As James 4:15 says,
โIf it is the Lordโs will, we will live and do this or that.โ
I place everything in Your hands.
What You have appointed for me, let me receive.
What You have not appointed for me, let me release.
What You have closed, let me not force open.
What You have opened, give me courage to walk through.
Cover me, guide me, protect me, and give me wisdom through the blood of Jesus Christ.
