My fast growing Philodendron brasil potted in our 4x4 white nordic gypsum pot. 🌱💚
Philodendron hederaceum brasil is a low maintenance plant that is easy to grow indoors. Brasil is known for its bold and unique yellow and green leaves pattern.
💦 Water about once a week. The soil should be kept evenly moist and not let it get too soggy or overwatered to prevent root rot.
🌞 They prefer medium to bright indirect light. They can survive in lower light condition however leaves will often be smaller and vines can be a little leggy.
🌧 While these plants are tropical and thrive in warm and humid temperatures, they are more than suitable for growing at most household temperatures.
✅ During the growing season, the Philodendron Brasil should be fed and fertilized about twice a month. A liquid fertilizer will generally work best, and it should generally be on the weaker side or a little bit diluted.
📌 Common problems:
While this species of plant is quite simple to grow, there are some issues and problems you should be sure to look out for. If the leaves begin to turn brown or yellow, it could be a sign you are watering too much.
On the other hand, if they begin to droop or curl, you may need to begin watering more frequently. Also, if the normally-multicolored leaves are turning into a solid color, that often means that the plant could do with a little more light.
