Subject: Implementation of Alternative Delivery Modality (ADM) due to Misting and Residual Spraying Activity

Please be informed that the Municipal Rural Health Unit of Tobias Fornier will conduct a misting and residual spraying activity in our school premises on July 7, 2025, as part of preventive measures to combat the possible spread of Dengue.

In line with this, Barasanan National High School will shift to the Alternative Delivery Modality (ADM) on July 7, 2025. All students are advised not to return to school until July 8, 2025 (Tuesday) to ensure everyone's health and safety while allowing the effects of the misting to settle.

Teachers will provide necessary instructions and learning materials for the ADM to ensure continuous learning during this brief suspension of in-person classes.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let us all remain vigilant and proactive in safeguarding our school community.

🎯 Purpose:
To demonstrate how to cook Pancit Canton while showcasing effective oral communication, applying the elements of communication, and using technical writing in presenting clear, step-by-step instructions—skills essential in both academic and professional settings.

📚 Achieved Competencies:
Apply the elements of communication (sender, message, channel, receiver, feedback, context, noise).

Use technical writing principles: clarity, coherence, organization, and accuracy.

Practice effective oral communication: voice projection, clear instructions, appropriate body language.

“Through this vlog, they used the elements of communication to make sure you understand every step clearly. They also used technical writing by giving step-by-step, organized instructions.

In TVL strand, communication is very important because it helps to explain processes, teach skills, and succeed in both academic and real-world situations.

“The Power of Words: A Social Experiment on Compliments and Kindness”

Activity of Grade 11 Archery

🎯 Objective:
To explore how simple words of kindness or compliments can impact people’s mood, behavior, and self-perception—demonstrating the importance of effective communication in real-life interactions.

📝 Achieved Competencies:
Apply the elements of communication (sender, message, channel, receiver, feedback, context, noise) in authentic situations.

Demonstrate the principles of technical writing: clarity, conciseness, coherence, and formality.

Practice oral communication skills in delivering clear, purposeful messages.

🎥 Video Structure:
1. Introduction (1-2 minutes)
Presenter introduces the purpose of the video.

Quick explanation of the Elements of Communication:

Sender: The person giving the compliment

Message: The compliment or kind words

Channel: Face-to-face communication

Receiver: The person receiving the compliment

Feedback: Verbal/non-verbal reactions

Noise: Distractions or misunderstandings

Context: Public setting (school, park, etc.)

2. Social Experiment (3-4 minutes)
Approach random people (with consent) and give genuine compliments (e.g., “You have a wonderful smile,” “You’re doing great today,” “Your outfit looks amazing.”)

Record their reactions.

Observe non-verbal feedback (smile, laughter, gratitude).

Optionally, interview them briefly about how those words made them feel.

3. Analysis/Reflection (3-5 minutes)
Use technical writing principles to present findings:

Present data (number of people approached, % positive responses, etc.) in a clear, concise way (graphs or bullet points can be used).

Discuss the emotional impact of words.

Highlight how communication elements were present in each interaction.

Emphasize how effective communication leads to positive outcomes in academic, professional, and everyday life.

4. Conclusion (1 minute)
Sum up the importance of mindful communication.

Encourage viewers to practice positive communication in daily interactions.
