To my best friend since elementary,
18 years.
From sharing crayons in the classroom, to sharing dreams under the same sky.
We grew up together. We fought, we laughed, we fell, and we stood back up side by side.
You’ve seen me at my messiest and at my brightest, and you never once let go.
Today you turn 18 — a legal age, but to me you’ll always be that kid who made my childhood lighter.
I pray that this new chapter brings you wisdom beyond your years, courage to chase what sets your soul on fire, and a heart that stays soft even when the world gets loud.
Thank you for being my constant.
Thank you for being proof that some people are meant to stay.
