Nomad Marketplace

Nomad Marketplace Health foods. Organics. Arts. Crafts. Film. Workshops. Training Lectures. We want to invite you to join us, put up a stall there or become a visitor/customer.

Nageen Hyat had the idea to create a lively marketplace at her Nomad Gallery in Saidpur, where her crafts/art would be sold together with healthy food in one place and bring people together. The idea is to hold the Nomad Marketplace (NM) from October to March on a weekly basis on Sundays from 11-15 hrs. The launch was on 16.10.2016. The “Council”, which consists of a small group of passionate orga

nizers, put together “Guiding Principles” for both the council and the vendors. From the food vendors, we get seasonal products like fresh, agricultural produce, artisanal bread and cheese, fresh and dry fruits, nuts and home-made preserves of all kinds, fresh and processed meat (e.g. hunter beef and liver pate), smoked fish, fresh and dried herbs and spices, etc. We have live cooking and try to attract new vendors constantly. Equally, we expect a diversity of crafts and art to be available at the NM, which showcases the creativity and talent of mainly young minds being transformed into paintings and drawings on any medium, photographs and sculptures, fabric etc. Nomad and the Council members, who are well connected in Islamabad, will broadly market the Nomad Marketplace (NM) in the social networks, through campaigns and the rosters of vendors and all the supportive friends. The idea is supposed to surprise the visitors and customers with changing features, which is to make it energetic and provide a space for exchange! You are invited to contribute as vendors or as visitors/customers to this unique atmosphere with your innovative presentations, healthy and creative products and ideas to make the fusion happen. Looking forward to a new dimension of art, food and fun in Islamabad! The Council, 5.10.2016
