Kanvas Designs

Welcome to Kanvas, where design is not just a profession but a passion. We believe that every space has a story to tell.

We are a team of dedicated artisans and visionaries, committed to crafting spaces that inspire and delight. With creativity as our compass and excellence as our standard, we transform ordinary environments into extraordinary experiences. Our mission is to be the storytellers, the artists who breathe life into the blank canvas of architecture. With a blend of innovation, craftsmanship, and personalized attention, we bring your vision to life, creating spaces that reflect your unique personality and aspirations.

We are designing Pakistan’s First state-of-the-art women’s incubation centre in Islamabad and we’re creating spaces that do more than look beautiful. They’re built to inspire, connect, and give ideas room to grow.

One of the spaces we’re most excited about is the Artisan Library at Women Innovation and Startup Empowerment Lab (WISE Lab), a living collection celebrating what Pakistani women make with their hands.

We’re calling all women makers, artisans, and creators to be part of it.

Because no woman builds alone. What one of us makes can become the reason another woman starts.

If you make something with your hands, we’d love to hear from you.

When the details do the talking.

A room of her own.

The brief we received was simple: a facelift, keeping the shell same. What she wanted was a living room that belonged to her: somewhere to sink in with her kids, her people, her evenings.

So we let the media wall do the talking. It became the room’s opening line. Fluting curves wrapping the fireplace, black meeting white for character, a floating console holding the decor, a plinth to close this feature and seal the moment. Small dramas, the kind that always ask for a second look.

At the centre, we placed a long sectional. Generous, unfussy, built for relaxed evenings. The kitchen came in coloured, considered down to the last inch, refusing to sit in the background.

And then the nook on the other side. The one that steals the room from everything else, where she can rest, eat, host, all from one seat with a beautiful view in the background.

But the room lives in its smaller confidences. Intentionally carving niches to give art depth. Custom lampshades chosen to draw the colour through. An armchair that commands its corner and presence. Lastly, an arched, full-length mirror because no girl’s room has ever been finished without one.

Dreams are rarely built alone. Somewhere along the way, you find people who believe in the same possibility, bring their own strengths to the table, and become part of the journey. There are long days, difficult decisions, small wins, big laughs, and countless moments that never make it to the final picture.

THE CURATOR - KHADIJAH
As Co-Founder & Head of Design at Kanvas Designs, Khadijah shapes the design direction behind every project, leading the studio with a sharp eye for aesthetics, detail and balance.

Driven by a love for experiential design, she translates concepts into refined, functional spaces that don't just look beautiful, but feel intentional and connected.

For Khadijah, great design is about knowing what to add, what to refine, and sometimes, what to leave out.

Her vision goes beyond four walls: taking Pakistan’s design language global, one space at a time.

Before vs After
CEO office - Ignite - National Technology Fund

20/07/2026

Great leadership deserves a space that’s just as intentional as the decisions made within it. We recently designed the CEO’s office at Ignite - National Technology Fund featuring design elements that reflect confidence, clarity, and quiet drama without overwhelming the space.
