The residence is envisioned as a pure white-on-white composition, emphasizing clarity, calmness, and sculptural form. Sitting on a 600-yard plot, the home is positioned slightly set back from the street to capture dramatic sunset views while providing natural thermal relief throughout the day.

A signature element of the design is the expansive cantilevered roof at the upper level, which projects outward to create deep shade over the front façade. This gesture introduces a cool, inviting micro-climate for the veranda, making it feel intimate and comfortable even in strong sunlight.

The carefully controlled quality of light plays a central role in the architectural expression. As the sun shifts, light glides across the white surfaces, creating a dynamic chiaroscuro effect that accentuates the façade’s planes and recesses. Throughout the day, this shadow play evolves—soft in the morning, sharp by late afternoon—bringing the exterior to life and highlighting the home’s minimalist geometry.
