Do you know, 4K HDR is the most latest version of visual content.

4K stands for 4000 pixels. which is (4096x2160)
Similar to that, Ultra HD is (3840x2160)

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. The technology which enhances the contrast of a video to the next level, where every color speaks for itself.

So before buying new LEDs or OLEDs, make sure you are getting an 4K/Ultra-HD HDR TV.

A quick advice
"If you want to continue having crispy sounding speakers in the long-run, then playing highly compressed audio/video files loud on your speakers is a no-no"

Test your Speakers by playing this video.
The frequencies for the speakers in this video starts from 20 Hz and ends at 20 KHz.

If you speakers do produce sound from start to end then your speakers are perfectly designed for sub-bass as well as for (presence & brilliance) treble.

Consult following table:

[FrequencyRange] - (Frequency Values)

[Sub-bass] - (20 to 60 Hz)
[Bass] - (60 to 250 Hz)
[Low midrange] - (250 to 500 Hz)
[Midrange] - (500 Hz to 2 kHz)
[Upper midrange] - (2 to 4 kHz)
[Presence] - (4 to 6 kHz)
[Brilliance] - (6 to 20 kHz)

Note: The generally accepted standard range of audible frequencies is 20 to 20,000 Hz, although the range of frequencies individuals hear is greatly influenced by environmental factors.

{1000 Hz = 1 KHz}

Hearing Test in HD quality. Sinusoidal wave starting at 20 Hz frequency and going up to 20 kHz frequency. It's recommended that you listen to this using head...

So what are "Full Range Speakers" & "Satellite Speakers" ?

FULL RANGES are those which usually have their separate drivers for mid-range frequencies and low-bass frequencies.

SATELLITES don't have drivers which can produce low-bass frequencies.

Due to more drivers and deep low-bass response, full range speakers needs more power (in wattage) to produce loud sound. They are used as "FRONT - (LEFT + RIGHT)" a.k.a. (MAINS) speakers.

Satellites are mostly used as "surround speakers" therefore deep-low bass is not required there. That is why they do not need as much power as the fronts. Satellites are also known as Book-shelf speakers.

FRONTS can go as low as 20Hz and as high as 25KHz.
Satellites go low as 60-80 Hz and high as 20Khz

Low frequencies represent the bass component of the sound and high frequencies represents the treble component.
Mid Range frequencies are usually the "dialogues", e.t.c.

Further, Full Range Speakers can either be "bi-amping" capable or not capable.
Same is the case for the bookshelves, which will be later discussed on the page.
