Instead, when winter approaches with its sub-zero temperatures, families in our region traditionally sacrifice one Yak to sustain themselves throughout the harsh winters. We firmly stand against the unethical practice of poaching animals for their skulls, bones, horns, or skin. What makes Yak Skulls and horns truly unique is the environment in which Yaks live. Inhabiting regions at altitudes ranging from 3500 to 5000 meters above sea level, they thrive in a cold and challenging environment. This, coupled with the remote and distant locations where Yaks are found, makes procuring their skulls and horns a remarkable feat. As a result, these items are not only distinctive but also rare.
