Finally, back to school! 😆
Sometimes, you don’t need too much to convey a message—a few props are enough to create a warm welcome back-to-school vibe.

All the props were made using thermocol and chart paper, with a few small touches of other materials where needed to build the base and add details.

Welcome back to school, where lots of work is waiting… and no free time for an art teacher like me! 😂

Thermocol has its own kind of magic—it can be transformed into desired shapes, and when those shapes come together through thoughtful composition, they create a beautiful 3D effect.

I created this 3D display for the library wall, turning a simple idea into a meaningful piece that adds depth, character, and visual interest to the space. The composition complements the library theme while making the wall more engaging and thoughtful.

Another display for the event — Wok & Chips
A Chinese cuisine themed setup featuring a handcrafted 3D pagoda and a fierce 3D dragon made completely by hand.

Sometimes the displays that look “small” from a distance carry the biggest amount of effort behind them. Countless hours, detailing, balancing structures, and bringing every element to life to create a setup that instantly grabbed attention the moment people walked in.

Creating decor that doesn’t just fill a space — but creates an experience. Alhamdulillah.

A glimpse of the third display from our students’ PBL presentation on the restaurant theme — inspired by Mexican takeaway vibes.

For Holy Guakomoly, I created a woven staircase grill installation using crepe paper strips, paired with hand-painted pots and crafted cactuses to bring warmth and character to the space. The entrance corner featured a handcrafted 3D logo with a bull headgear, adding a bold thematic touch.

To complete the setup, the restaurant name was designed with glitter sheets as the food-table backdrop, enhancing the overall beauty of the display while keeping the aesthetic balanced and vibrant.

A lot of creativity, detailing, and craftsmanship came together to transform simple materials into an immersive restaurant-inspired experience. Alhamdulillah
