This stash busting granny square blanket took a long time to finish, and it turns out the biggest fan of the finished project was not even human. He claimed it before I even got a proper photo.

Does your cat or dog also think every blanket you make is theirs?

Story Time: I have only ever made this bag once. Cream granny squares, each with a heart crocheted into the center, made for a friend's birthday. Every single heart took hours, and then came the even slower part, joining them together, one by one, until the whole panel finally came together as one piece.

Then it was stolen from my home, by someone who had been working there. A handmade bag, gone, and I never managed to get it back. I do not think I have ever been more heartbroken over a single project.

I have not made another one like it since. Some things really do only happen once. Has anything you made ever gone missing on you?

This sunburst panel started with one granny square in red, orange, and yellow, then grew square by square until nine of them came together into a panel for a tote bag. Each photo in this carousel has a bit of the color story written right on it, from the single square to the finished sunburst grid.

Granny squares are endlessly versatile. The same nine-square panel could just as easily become a small blanket instead of a bag. What would you make with a pattern like this, a tote or a throw?

Working a 9 to ♾️, it’s very difficult finding time to do what I really love doing i.e. CROCHET.

Who else is on the same boat with me? Working to afford a super expensive side hustle where people tell you “my grandma can make this for half the price” 🙂‍↔️💀

Pakistan, meet mosaic crochet. This overlay technique creates geometric patterns using just one color per row, and as far as I know, no one else in Pakistan is designing with it yet. This diamond trellis afghan took 2 weeks and flows through three shades, from deep navy to soft mint.

Every diamond is built stitch by stitch, no graphs sewn on, no embroidery. Just clever colorwork.

Would you try this technique?

I’ve been obsessed with how these two look together. The texture on this puff-stitch bandana is so soft, and when you pair it with the sunset tones of the crossbody, it just feels like the perfect weekend uniform.
Whether you’re grabbing coffee or heading out for a long walk, this duo does all the heavy lifting for your outfit. Bonus if you drive a scooty, all your essentials close to your heart.

Quick details:
• The yellow bandana is all about those intricate shell details.
• The bag is lightweight, hands-free, and fits the essentials.
Everything is handmade and ready to ship. Send a DM if you want to grab the set before it’s gone!

Only 1 crossbody bag in stock.
