Posted • Opening next week — Dhikr: Act of Remembrance (20th - 29th March 2025) 📿

Dhikr—the rhythmic repetition of the divine—transcends language, form, and time. It is a practice of spiritual remembrance, a meditation on the sacred, and a thread that weaves through the fabric of Islamic traditions. In this exhibition, Dhikr becomes more than a whispered prayer; it is inscribed into calligraphy, carved into clay, layered into geometry, and embedded within the textures of identity.

Each of these artists, in their own way, engages in a form of Dhikr—a visual repetition, an echo of devotion, a call to remembrance. Their works serve as inscriptions of the past and invocations for the future, urging us to listen, to reflect, and to reconnect with the sacred rhythms of our existence. In a world overwhelmed by noise, this exhibition invites the viewer to pause, to trace the contours of script and form, and to find solace in the act of remembrance.
