Our fascination with wood began many decades ago when Jan Walczak started to trade in lumber in the 1930s. Post war, his son Zdzislaw established a private sawmill and manufacturer of wood flooring. Over the following decades we have strengthened our position in the Polish market and we expanded our operations abroad. Thanks to the values of continuous improvement (both technical and aesthetic) of

our wood floors, we have become a recognised brand among architects and parquet fitters. According to them, our products guarantee a solid finish and enable them to always achieve the desired results in their interiors. Within 80 years of operating in the market, we have implemented many innovative solutions in woodworking, which received certificates granted by the Polish Patent Office. ✨Change of grading names for floorboards

🔄 The names are changing – the quality remains the same! 💎

We want our floors to stand out not only for their quality but also for unique grading names.
Our Rustikal class – as you often suggested – deserved a better, unique name, because its quality and character are closer to the market standards of higher classes.🤎
On the other hand, the classes “… with insect trails” [for example Rustikal with insect trails], although technically very precise, did not sound very marketing-friendly.

For this reasons, we have decided to change the grade names 👇

➡️ Natural → Excellence
➡️ Rustikal → Harmony
➡️ Country Polar → Polar
➡️ Rustikal with insect trials → Old Wood Harmony
➡️ Country with insect trials → Old Wood Country

Exactly the same products are offered under the new names – nothing changes in terms of quality and grading standards. The Country and Antique grades retain their old names.

We want to clearly and unequivocally emphasize: our flooring is made exclusively from wood sourced from Polish forests that adhere to sustainable forest management.

From the beginning of our operations, we have focused on honesty and transparency. We have never succumbed to the temptation of easy profit; we do not use wood from uncertain sources, regardless of the geopolitical situation.
