A very special project at in New York.

More than a five-metre wood-fired oven, clad entirely in ceramics created by Terra Ignis, every tile hand-carved, finished with the glaze formulated in-house. The steel structure underneath was designed and built in our atelier to make sure that the ceramics and the frame fit together — every arch and every joint.

On site, piece by piece, the whole structure was assembled by the construction team from — precision work in the middle of a restaurant build.

Thank you to everyone who carried it — literally.

We are proud to finally share our latest project: the ceramic oven at Humm, chef Daniel Humm’s new restaurant in New York.

We had the pleasure of crafting the hand-carved ceramic tiles that clad the oven and engineering its entire structure.

Such an honour to be part of this beautiful interior by Pierre Yovanovitch, and to see our work in the Financial Times alongside artists like Francesco Clemente, Rashid Johnson and Louise Bourgeois.

A charming tiled stove topped with the hand painted, decorative crown was constructed in order to provide heating in the master bedroom. Warmth of the ceramic tiles and the sounds of the crackling wood logs create the atmosphere of coziness perfect for relaxation.
