Today it’s not all about the steel — even though 26c3 is a beast of a carbon steel, hardening up to 66 HRC.
This time the handle steals the whole show, so I kept the blade simple, forged from monosteel.
The real star? A one-of-a-kind handle made from plant fibers locked in vibrant turquoise resin. It’s tough, but like any wood (even stabilized), you shouldn’t leave it soaking in water too long — the natural fibers might rise a bit under your fingers. Totally normal stuff.
That turquoise though... seriously blew me away. Deep, rich color, wild pattern. I paired it with brass and black G10 for a clean, powerful vibe.
How did it turn out? You tell me! 😁
Big shoutout to Emil - epoxy lab for creating and supplying this badass material! 💪👊
And just so you know — this knife already found its forever home. 😉✌️
