Come Design Our First Restaurant With Us 🍷✨
Some dreams take a little longer to come true.
Ever since Erick and I started Koko & Sass, we’ve wanted to design a restaurant. Now that dream has finally become a reality.
We have been given the opportunity to design our very first restaurant in Paseo Caribe, San Juan, and this is where it all begins.
As you can see, we started with an almost empty shell. A shell of a bar had already been built before we came on board, but everything else was ours to imagine.
The concept is more than just a restaurant. It’s also a cooking school, so from the very beginning we wanted the space to feel warm, welcoming and deeply connected to Puerto Rico. Our inspiration came from the island itself with its lush landscapes, earthy tones, plantains, root vegetables and natural textures.
It’s still very much a work in progress, and there are plenty of decisions, challenges and late nights ahead. We can’t wait to bring you along as this space transforms into something really special.
