My last days off I've enjoyed taking out my dye supplies out of their hibernate mode, as well as trying to reorganise a crafty corner.
Was interesting to see the middle bug so eager to learn how to colour yarn 🥰
The yarns are all from native portuguese sheep breeds 🐑🐏 and the producers are tagged in the photos too 😊 they all take dye amazingly well!
On the first photo there's Bordaleira wool from in 2 shades (in the reel you can see the 2 shades having a bath): the darker one was dyed in the "Garnet" colourway and the light in the "Flowing Through" one. They will become a new Vinterskov Sweater by to replace the stolen one 🥲
On the second photo are some skeins of Brusca wool from also in the "Garnet" colourway. This wool is a mix of 2 portuguese breeds, Merino and Saloia sheep. And it'll eventually become an Arbusto Sweater
On the last 2 photos there's a new yarn by a mix of portuguese Merino and linen which was dyed in a new colourway 🥰 the linen stays mostly undyed giving the yarn an interesting marled effect 😊 this skein doesn't have a project in mind but will possibly turn into a light summer shawl 🏖🌅
❓️Which one is your favourite? And which patterns would you recommend for a 1 skein summery shawl? 👗
