Inspired by sub-Saharan architecture in banco, a mixture of clay and straw, this composition plays with the curved volumes characteristic of these constructions. The shapes rise and intertwine to form a resolutely contemporary irregular border. The rug’s subtle sculpted effect illustrates the exceptional craftsmanship of hand-tuft.
