A day in Padua.

A glimpse inside Zanetto’s family workshop, where our new collection is taking shape.

Between hand-formed metal, generations of know-how, and a shared passion for craftsmanship, we are building a dialogue between Italian tradition and contemporary design.

Available on The Oblist and Zanetto

Honored to be featured in the latest issue of with A Quiet Manifesto, a reflection on the evolution of our studio and the spaces, objects, and relationships that continue to shape our practice.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What began years ago as an instinctive dialogue between living, working, and exhibiting has gradually evolved into a slower and more grounded ecosystem in Porto, where architecture, interiors, collectible design, craftsmanship, and production coexist under one roof.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This article beautifully captures the spirit behind our new studio: not simply a showroom or workspace, but a place for experimentation, material research, conversation, and collaboration with artisans.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you to the Openhouse team, to writer Soraia Martins, and photographer Sean Davidson for translating our world with such sensitivity.

A dialogue between shadow and glow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Floor Lamp with a “Mirror” by Minjae Kim combines hand carved pine with a quilted fiberglass shade, balancing primitive presence and delicate light. Beside it, Lacquered Chair II explores the same sculptural language through softened geometries and deeply stained wood.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each piece carries the irregularity of the hand. Slight variations in shape, grain and shade make every object singular.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Signed pieces by Minjae Kim available through our gallery on www.garce-dimofski.com

Our latest project.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Brushed inox walls, catching light in silence.
A red surface holding the space.
Soft fur leather grounding the body.
A Paavo Tynell lamp suspended in balance.
A Minjae Kim candle holder, almost still.

Monte Sofa
No excess.
No decoration.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Volume pushed to the limit, then held back.
Curves that carry the body without explaining themselves.
Chestnut at the base. Grounding everything.
Softness above. Almost collapsing, but not quite.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Quiet. Dense. Precise.
Monte, available with The Invisible Collection.

Zanetto x Garcé Dimofski
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A collection where metal shifts from structure to expression.
Designed with Garcé Dimofski, Alegria reworks traditional metalwork through gesture, proportion, and light.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Curved lines, sculptural volumes, textured and polished finishes — each piece plays with reflection, revealing a material that feels both strong and unexpectedly soft.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Craft meets experimentation.
Objects that go beyond function, designed to last.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Available on Zanetto and The Oblist.

Many thanks to Zanetto Family ❤️

Checkmate Chair — Garance Vallée for Garcé Dimofski gallery
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not a chair. A position.
A constructed form where matter is cut, opened, interrupted.
Light moves through it, redefining it constantly.
It doesn’t follow proportion or comfort.
It follows an intuition.
Like a fragment taken from a larger space,
or a drawing that escaped the page.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
An object, but mostly a language.

Eurydice: A Modernist Dream
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A contemporary opera inspired by the radical dawn of modernism
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In 1915, a small group of restless poets and artists ignited a revolution of words, forms, and visions. They called their journal Orpheu. Though it survived for only two brief issues, it unleashed a creative rupture that redefined the trajectory of modern art and literature. Within its pages, Fernando Pessoa multiplied himself into voices and heteronyms; Mário de Sá-Carneiro poured the excess of his imagination into dazzling fragments; Almada Negreiros declared with fire that a new age of creation had arrived.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This opera does not seek to illustrate their history, but to reawaken their dream. It is a staging of the impossible, where myth, memory, and modernism collide in an unsteady chorus. At its heart stands Eurydice, not as the passive beloved of antiquity, but as the shadow that eludes, the fragmented muse, the absence that drives invention. Her silence echoes louder than words.
