German born Celia Rogge has lived and worked in New York since the early 90s, she has also called Berlin, London, Washington DC and Montreux her home. Since the late 2010s she divides her time between the US, Germany and Portugal. Celia Rogge’s artistic expression is fundamentally influenced by living between two diverging continents, cultures, architectural styles, and languages.

While her motto is “Always Look Up” and her pursuit of “Reflections” is, at first, meant figuratively, they are also meant to suggest spiritual reflection.
Her artistic work itself is divided into her own “Yin & Yang” signified by “Order and Emotion”, each expressed through distinct photographic techniques.
