A tote bag made from aged linen towelling — a handwoven fabric originally made for household use, for drying hands.
Through the mending process, a woven patch took shape, holding within it two small seashells gathered on the beach where I swim each morning.
Across the surface, a cyanotype stain settled in, still carrying the faint trace of a cord the sun never fully revealed.
Nothing was erased.
Each layer remains as memory — of sea, of time, of touch.
