Following a week-long music workshop, the participants of the Loet van der Lee Summerschool will round off their workshop with a performance during Mais Jazz Café.

The Tahina Rahary Malagasy Roots is an original music project that brings together the musical roots of Madagascar with the contemporary language of jazz and even touches of Portuguese music, resulting in a distinctive artistic voice shaped by improvisation, harmonic depth, and rhythmic richness.

The repertoire is made up entirely of original compositions by Tahina Rahary, reflecting a strong musical identity and a cohesive creative vision where tradition and modernity blend naturally.
