We love period Portuguese furniture but acknowledge that this is not perhaps as popular as it once was, so, to give these once loved items new appeal and longevity, we lovingly restore them into unique, fashionable items of ‘Vintage Chic’. With backgrounds in art and design we carefully consider the style, colour and decoration technique before we begin each renovation. Each piece is meticulously prepared prior to our artistic decoration, carefully making any repairs required. Then, our ‘artists’ go to work, creatively decorating each piece using high-quality paint and materials. Finally, each item is given a suitable protective coating to ensure you many years of happiness with your new item of furniture. From a simple old oak table renovated with a vibrant modern colour scheme and shabby paint effect to a regally renovated writing desk that oozes glamour and style with its new black and metallic gold appearance, each of our ‘Vintage Chic’ items is completely unique. Typical items we source and renovate include occasional tables, wardrobes, chest of drawers, console tables, mirrors, dressers, writing desks, bureaus, tv cabinets to name a few, but, as each item is unique, our range is constantly changing so please regularly check the items we have for sale. We have a wide range of finished, renovated items of furniture in our Vintage Chic collection but we realise you may not see something that fits exactly with your current room theme, so, why not consider our Vintage Chic Bespoke Restoration service. Our Bespoke Restoration service allows you to view our unrenovated stock that we hold in our storage facility. If you see a piece of furniture that you are looking for we will then discuss with you the exact style, colour and renovation technique you would like us to use on it, resulting in a piece that perfectly complements your existing room theme. We also offer a renovation service for items of furniture that you might already own but that do not fit in with your room theme. Here again, we discuss with you what your exact requirements are and renovate your furniture accordingly. For larger and permanently installed items such as fitted wardrobes, extremely large and heavy items, we even offer a renovation service carried out within your home.
