Created in collaboration with .ro, this concept by Alina Vîlcu takes inspiration from a Mark Rothko artwork - an exploration of how color can completely transform the perception of an indoor space. 🔵

Designed specifically for this room, our wallpaper was imagined as an integrated part of the interior architecture rather than a simple decorative element, using subtle tonal transitions and layered depth that shift naturally with the light and surrounding materials.

At Dream Prints, we believe custom surfaces should feel like a natural extension of the entire design concept.

Feels like yesterday, really ☁️

Seeing the finalist wallpaper designs together, outside the screen and surrounded by so many people from the creative community, made the whole project feel like a textbook success. That made us feel very cool as well 🥹

Some things are already moving forward - today we met with , one of the two winners, to shape the first directions for the capsule wallpaper collection we’ll be developing together at Dream Prints.

This is just the beginning of the process and most definitely of a great creative relationship. 🫧

Meet a we’re really proud to be part of - featured today on TV - for 🤍

The wallpaper you see started from a real maternal bond: a grandmother who decided to take care of a little girl as her own, building her days around play, discovery, and time spent together.
Our designer and good friend, , illustrated their spirit through a playful character - the grandma on skis, always in motion, always curious. Always up for adventure.

This drawing became part of a children’s book created by one of our favourite creatives , imagined especially for the little girl.

From that illustration, we designed the wallpaper - carrying the story further into the space itself. ✨

More than anything, it’s human connection translated into art.

The moment we’ve been building towards is almost here. “Put Your Head in the Clouds” - our first wallpaper design contest is reaching its final stage. 🧑🏽‍💻

Here’s a first look of the final wallpaper designs, each exploring a personal vision of the “room of your dreams” and bringing forward a fresh, thoughtful creative perspective.

Their own vernissage will take place on April 23rd, at the Dream Prints Studio, where all shortlisted works will be presented. At the end of the evening, not one, but two winners will be selected.

The winning concept will be developed into a capsule wallpaper collection, featured on the Dream Prints website, with royalties from sales.

We’d also like to thank everyone who took part - reviewing your work has been a real pleasure, and a reminder of how strong and promising this new generation of creatives truly is. 🤍
