There’s a point where interior design stops being about “furniture” and starts becoming architecture you can feel.

This project sits exactly there.

Natural stone that carries movement, not just texture.Custom millwork that reads like a façade, not cabinetry.A kitchen that disappears into a sculptural object.Lighting suspended like a quiet constellation — intentional, not decorative.

Everything is layered, but nothing is loud.

I wanted this space to feel like a private gallery you live in — where materials do the talking and every line has a reason.Warm oak underfoot, deep smoked veneers, brushed metal accents… all balanced to create tension without chaos.

This is not a “designed apartment”.This is a controlled atmosphere.

And yes — it’s still unfinished.Because the best spaces reveal themselves slowly.

Nu e doar un apartament. E un ritm.

Dimineața e liniște.
Seara e apus peste lac.

Ai spațiu să respiri:
• living deschis + dining
• 2 dormitoare
• 2 băi
• 2 balcoane (unul cu vedere către Siutghiol)

Fără exces. Fără zgomot vizual.
Doar lumină bună și flow corect.

Un proiect gândit pentru un cuplu tânăr, cu sensibilități diferite, aduse împreună prin forme curate, materiale naturale și un limbaj calm, coerent.

Când o vilă clasică învață limbajul sticlei.
Sarcina noastră a fost să relocăm esența unei reședințe istorice într-un nou cadru arhitectural contemporan, pe malul lacului Lugano.
Am păstrat caracterul casei, dar l-am reinterpretat într-o construcție modernă, definită de pereți de sticlă până în tavan, lumină naturală și perspective deschise.

Am integrat piese originale – pianul vintage, fotoliile sculpturale, arta de colecție – într-un nou dialog de materiale: nuc, piatră, in și metal periat.
Rezultatul: un spațiu în care moștenirea și modernitatea coexistă într-un echilibru calm, cu priveliște asupra lacului Lugano.

When a classic villa learns the language of glass.
Our mission was to relocate the essence of a historic villa into a contemporary lakefront development.
We preserved the home’s character while translating it into an architectural vocabulary of floor-to-ceiling glass, light, and open perspectives.

Original pieces — the vintage piano, sculptural armchairs, curated art — were re-composed in dialogue with walnut, stone, linen, and brushed metal.
The result is a living space where heritage and modernity coexist in quiet balance, overlooking the calm of Lake Lugano.

IT🇮🇹 :

Quando una villa classica impara il linguaggio del vetro.
Il nostro compito è stato quello di trasferire l’essenza di una residenza storica in un nuovo contesto architettonico contemporaneo, affacciato sul Lago di Lugano.
Abbiamo preservato l’anima della casa, reinterpretandola in una struttura moderna, definita da ampie vetrate, luce naturale e prospettive aperte.

Gli elementi originali – il pianoforte vintage, le poltrone scolpite, le opere d’arte – sono stati reinseriti in un nuovo dialogo di materiali: noce, pietra, lino e metallo spazzolato.
Il risultato è uno spazio in cui eredità e modernità convivono in un equilibrio silenzioso, con vista sul Lago di Lugano.

This bedroom is all about balance — between elegance, comfort, and the calming embrace of nature. 🌿

The green wall creates a living backdrop that infuses freshness and vitality, while the Terzani pendant lamp and Flos nightstand ceiling lamps add sculptural warmth and soft ambient light.

The bed is more than just a centerpiece — it’s crafted with temperature-regulating comfort, ensuring restful nights in every season. Fresh sheets and tactile layers invite you into a sanctuary where design and wellness intertwine.

This is where nature-inspired textures, refined lighting, and mindful comfort come together to create a space that feels truly alive.
