You don’t really “visit” Fuorisalone.
You get pulled into it.
It takes over the entire city. A vibrant city, even more alive than usual.
You plan one stop… and end up discovering five more on the way.
A showroom you walk into “just for a minute” suddenly keeps you there.
A street turns into an exhibition without warning.
And yes — the queues, the crowds, the constant movement.
Part of the experience, whether you like it or not.
Sometimes you wait more than you actually see.
At some point, it stops being about what you see
and becomes about the atmosphere — the pace, the energy, the feeling of the city.
Only then you start noticing the layers —
historic palazzos turned into immersive settings,
installations that feel closer to art than product,
and a mix of design, fashion and lifestyle blending into one narrative.
You quickly realise you need more than just a few days to see it all.
And even then… it’s still not enough.
And maybe that’s what stays with you.
Not a specific piece, but a feeling.
