These days, I’m working on my autumn collection, and after almost a month of not posting here, I thought I’d come back with something a little more personal.
Today, I found myself matching my outfit with a necklace I made many years ago, using the beads I created during a Murano glass modelling course in Italy.
It was one of those experiences that stays with you long after it has ended.
Master Mauro Puccitelli was, for me, more than the person who taught me how to work with glass. He was a warm and patient soul, and sometimes, when I’m working at the torch, I can still hear his voice. His advice has stayed with me all these years.
I will never stop being grateful for everything he taught me, and I feel very lucky to have had that opportunity.
And these beads, made back then, are still here. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is that they still inspire me to create. 🤍
Maybe some things don’t remain just objects. They become part of our story.
Grazie di cuore, Mauro! Mauro Puccitelli
